List, lists and more lists.  The days of a list being something you made before going to the grocery are long gone.  Now there are lists for everything and we rely on them to find out what's hot and what's not.  There are even lists of the best lists.  And truthfully it is getting to the point where we need that so we don't waste time on lackluster lists!

That said, one list source you can always rely on for book recommendations is IndieBound.org.  With weekly and specialized lists, IndieBound.org is a way to be in touch with local independent bookstores, even if you don't have one near you.

This Summer's Top 10 Reading Group Suggestions is no exception.  Here's a glimpse at the list:

LITTLE BEE by Chris Cleave
BROOKLYN by Colm Toibin
THE WIVES OF HENRY OADES by Johanna Moran
A RELIABLE WIFE by Robert Goolrick
VELVA JEAN LEARNS TO DRIVE by Jennifer Niven

and the list goes on!  You can check out the rest by clicking here!

I've only read 2 of the IndieBound selections so far so now I'm feeling list pressure!  (Which is kind of like peer pressure - only listier).

As Always -- Happy Reading!
