If you've got some men in your book club, or want to - or your book club is all men, this list is for you.  Nothing too sappy or sweet.  Perhaps a male author or male protagonist.  Maybe a manly man kind of story.  Check these titles out and let me know what you think!

In today's post, guest blogger and reference librarian Bonnie Brzozowski explains why graphic novels make such great book club selections for members of all ages!  Yes - maybe even yours.  Bonnie works at the Austin Public Library and in addition to leading the Graphic Novels Book Club, she also purchases graphic novels for the library system so she is speaking from (great) experience!

In today's guest post, author Kylie Ladd talks about the somewhat controversial title of her new book, AFTER THE FALL.  It's always interesting to me what an author has done intentionally and what they have not.  In this case, Kylie's title is very intentional, but the fact that it was the title of another famous work was definitley not!

Yup, I'm at it again... making up words.  Not sure "bestselleriness" will catch on, but I think the word and it's various derivatives could be put to good use.  For example, "That book has a definite bestselleriness to it, if it's not on the list, it should be."  But stop distracting me and let me get to the point.

In today's guest post Sonja Somerville, Liz Hughes and Robin Beerbower of the Salem Public Library in Salem, Oregon discuss Chevy Stevens' brand new book, STILL MISSING and explain why it was far more than they were expecting.
