the_girl_who_kicked_the_hornets_nest.jpgIf you are as obsessed with Stieg Larsson's Millenium trilogy as most people are these days, you will be thrilled to see that BookReporter.com has chosen the third book THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNET'S NEST as this year's book of the year.

And they've gone a step further as well, choosing the entire trilogy as the trilogy of the decade!

I had to think about that for a minute - and then I realized - holy &*^% -- it's almost 2011!  Where did the time go?

But I digress.  BookReporter.com has put up an awesome Book of the Year page with links to everything you ever wanted to know about the books, the movies and the author.  There are articles about the actors and info on the mysterious 4th book.  There's even a section where you can share your comments on the books!

I have to admit - I am behind on this series.  But not for lack of interest.  I have read books 1 & 2 and seen the first movie.  I have the second movie queued up on Netflix, but I still need to go out and buy book number 3.  And now that THE GIRL WITH THE HORNET'S NEST is book of the year, I probably should not delay any longer.  I can't be the last one to read it!  For a woman in my position, that would be totally lame!  So, if you were looking for a gift idea for me... now you have it.  Just sayin'.
