Although I read a variety of YA literature, my favorite genre would have to be contemporary. I have been blogging over at Fiction_TheNewReality (http://fictionthenewreality.blogspot.com/) since October of 2013, and it is such an enriching and enjoyable experience. Along with blogging, my hobbies range from the fine arts (music and drawing) to martial arts (taekwondo and karate). I find reading to be a great escape from everyday life, and opening a new book is like embarking on a new adventure. Through the Teen Reads Board this year, I want to help others find the joy in reading.
