Hi! I'm Sarah, a 17-year-old from New Jersey. I was born and raised in Japan, but I moved to the United States when I was 10-years-old. I am an avid reader and writer, and my transcultural background thus serves as my main inspiration for the pieces that I write and what I read. I am passionate about reading novels that reflect the cultural duality in myself and my surroundings. I especially adore the works of F. Scott Fitzgerald because of his capacity to craft intimate moments in the form of poetic prose. I also enjoy listening to various bands, such as Coldplay, Young the Giant, and Hippocampus as well as going on my weekly movie dates with my dad to the theater. My main aspiration is to become a writer or someone in the writing field, and I am very excited in further exploring that through the Teenreads community!
