Elizabeth Wrenn has been a freelance writer for over twenty-five years. She has also been a park ranger, outdoor education naturalist, P.R. and media specialist, literacy tutor and, when the occasion demanded, a roofer. She lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband, daughter and cat, and various visiting canines. This is her first novel. As research for it, she raised Lucca, now a working guide in Georgia.
