Louis de Bernieres is the author of Corelli’s Mandolin (available in paperback from Vintage Books) and of a trilogy of tragicomic novels: The War of Don Emmanuel’s Nether Parts, Señor Vivo and the Coca Lord, and The Troublesome Offspring of Cardinal Guzman. He lives in England.
