Susan Minot

Susan Minot is an award-winning novelist, short-story writer, poet and screenwriter. Her first novel, MONKEYS, was published in a dozen countries and won the Prix Femina Étranger in France. Her novel, EVENING, was a worldwide bestseller and became a major motion picture. Her ninth book, published in 2024, is the novel DON'T BE A STRANGER, which is about a woman searching for herself as a mother and a lover. She teaches at Stony Brook University in the Graduate Writing Program, and lives in New York City and on an island in Maine.
